This year Macrae Foods Ltd employed the services of Industrious Ltd to assist with the recruitment of temporary workers leading up to our busy Christmas period. Following a number of planning meetings Industrious Ltd placed a Contract Manager on site to coordinate the temporary workers.

The Contract Manager worked alongside our existing management team and took full responsibility for the selection and induction of all the temporary staff brought on site. Industrious have supplied us with the staff numbers required and on occasions have been able to supply workers at very short notice.

Industrious is a partner agency for a number of M&S suppliers and has experience in supplying and managing multi-cultural workforces and has shared the projects it has been working on e.g. Language support, induction training.

M&S recently hosted its annual Ethical Trading conference with over 350 delegates from the UK supply base. Industrious helped organise the conference, including logistics, speaker suggestions and shaping the sessions for the day and were also involved on the day in the Labour panel debate involving the GLA and ALP and presented a case study on interactive 'food hygiene training'.
